In the character for “kind” (優), a person (⺅) stands beside “worry” (憂), as if kindness
means standing with the ones who worry.
Just like sunlight filtering through the trees, I hope Cafe Yuuki can be a ray of hope,
a place where you can find peace.

Café Owner: Waku
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Born in Kurayoshi (Tottori Prefecture), and raised in Nagasaki.
She pursued her studies in Kobe, where she specialised in nutrition studies.
Then, she became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and worked in various settings, including elderly care facilities, providing meal services and nutrition counseling. She also earned qualifications as a Care Manager.
She put her heart into baking cakes and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Kobe.
Working as a pastry chef in a café in Kobe and a French restaurant, she experienced health issues due to overwork. That was when she discovered macrobiotic and fermented foods. Witnessing their benefits, she was reminded of the importance of health and diet.
Hoping to live a healthy, peaceful, and joyful everyday life, one where she could care for her family and friends while embracing the local traditions of her hometown, Kurayoshi, a place abundant in nature, she decided to return in 2023. She then opened Cafe Yuuki, a place gentle to both body and mind!

May this be a place where the warmth of people and nature can be felt.
